Case Study
The Challenge - The New York Reality TV School was hired by the Women’s Network at Thomson Reuters to facilitate a three hour session on leadership in public speaking and presentation, as a program in the Professional Development Series. The goal was to develop confidence, mastery and powerful public speaking skills for addressing large groups and in weekly team meetings. Another aim was to reduce performance stress while communicating and working with prospective clients, internal customers and co-workers.
The Solution - “Unscripted Leadership & Public Presentation” - The New York Reality TV School customized and facilitated a dynamic out of chair seminar that allowed participants to co-create original presentations, work under short deadlines, explore and interact with the qualities of leadership, stumble around the interruptions, and apply tangible tactics and techniques to help unleash the power of their messages.
The Result - The Thomson Reuters participants left the “Unscripted Leadership” seminar with new and accessible tools that allow them to make clear, focused and memorable presentations. The individuals were also transformed into relaxed, authentic and engaging speakers; each participant equipped with the discipline and confidence to express leadership and comfort with public speaking.
