Five week session enrollment rotates monthly and sessions take placye Saturdays 12pm - 1:30pm PRICE $299.00 - Call now to register, space is limited, 212.332.0878 The Five Week Workshop is a program that allows students interested in going beyond the One Time Intensive and is modeled after the week to week Reality experience offering similar challenges, obstacles, conflict and comraderie building found on Reality TV shows. Students will further explore what makes for an outstanding personality on TV and will work with the camera during the five weeks, simulating the 'coverage' concept of the shows. The five weeks are broken down as follows: Weeks 1 and 2 - Reality TV Conflict: Students will become more confident by trusting their own style and instincts, through specifically designed exercises that further explore: developing a trust of your originality, your life stories, and experiences. We will also explore techniques in dealing with diverse and extreme personalities in close quarters, hard and fast techniques to improve facing "Reality Show" based obstacles and challenges, and also coming to term with the re-contextualizing of actual events. Week 3 and 4 - On Set Training and the Audition Tape: Students will explore on set behavior and audition tape submission. We will show how to make the camera work for you once you are on set and further explore: blocking, staging, wardrobe details and personally tailoring your look to your advantage. Week 5 - Audition Tape and Guest Lecture Q & A We will analyze best practices for the audition process, including tape submission and there will be an extended question and answer period with guest lecturers and a closing graduation celebration. |
